Kenny kenny kenny

So my lovely child is slowly but most certainly is moving into the terrible twos. There are the temper tantrums that even time out won't cure. The give me give me give me, I want this now and I mean now. He is crazy!!! But... I love it! I can't think about him and not smile.
Today the little nut decided he was going to turn the hamper over... then take out all of the clothes... and then sit in it like it was little cave. He even took his music and light box and put it in there with him. I can't believe it.

We are in the process of moving into a lovely house. I can't wait to get out of this apartment. It is enough to drive me nuts. I sure have been saying that a lot.

Mommyhood!

So things have been pretty busy here at the Crawford-Harville home. We had a full weekend off and Brian's sister had her baby on his birthday September 29, 2008. Nikolas William Kontakos is 8lbs 10oz. and is 20.5in long. He is beautiful! It really is a wonderful thing. It is always stuff like this makes you so happy. It actually makes me want another baby. I love babies. They are so flipping cute. Kenny is doing really really well. He is starting to make a ton more noises. We will count to three before we tickle him or drop in on the couch so now when he jumps off a toy (I know... I only have three seconds), or steps off a chair or jumps on you he always says oeah, ewwo, eeee. I like to think that is one two three but who knows. I could just be one of those crazy moms who thinks her kid is doing things he isn't... but I am telling you he is! ha ha!

So the decision is school. I am trying to figure out what to do about it. I need to go to school. I need to get my nursing degree and get it all done. I know I need to do it. I just have to see what would be the best option and route about doing it. I need to talk to a person at Collin County so I know exactly what to do. I am extremely nervous though. I know what I want to do. I want to be a labor and delivery nurse. I know there will be ups and down as there is with any nurse field. I just know that is what I want to do. I will have to see how everything pans out. I need to get off my arse and get things done. I have until January but the further I get things done the better!

Being a mommy is a full time job

Well... this is a new blog for me... I love reading mommy blogs so I decided that I would write a mommy blog. Well let me introduce myself and the little man who calls me mommy. My name is Jessica Crawford I am 22 years old and live in Plano, TX. I am mommy to a little boy named Kenny he is 16 months old and a crazy little boy. These will be my everyday stories about my wonderful family and everything crazy that they do. My fiance is Brian we plan on getting married in September 2009 probably the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Kenny is an amazing little boy he loves to play and is obsessed with everything that little boys like. He is extremely stubborn so that is always a challenge. He was a surprise for me and Brian and completely shocked us with the news of him. I love being a mommy and appreciate everything that God has given me. I don't know where this blog or my little boy will head but I am extremely excited to learn about all of the possibilities. I love both him so much and can't wait to experience him growing and laughing and playing. Some exciting news for my family is that Kenny will be having a new baby cousin any day now. We are very excited about it and can't wait. It will be his 7th cousin and Brian's family 8th grandchild. But who could ask for anything more. I hope you enjoy my journey and discovery about my son and explore all of the fun possibilities of raising a child. I love to share stories and ideas and would love to get help from anyone because as we all know being a first time mommy can be very very chaotic but the most rewarding thing that you will ever experience.
